At the R&D Insert Milling Tools department in Fagersta, we develop insert milling tools and cutters, new geometries on new and existing products, and new innovative solutions suitable for milling applications. We always strive to deliver our products with the highest quality in time. We're now looking for a Development Engineer - Project Management. Your mission
In this position, you lead development projects of our milling products where you capture and develop new ideas, methods, tools, and processes and apply these in a way that provides value for the business. You manage and drive development in indexable insert milling and carry out development activities for design, construction and manufacturing processes on wear and cutting optimization. You also support various product maintenance activities to upgrade existing products.
You're continuously developing your knowledge and skills in our field, and with your expertise you create a setting that makes your colleagues grow. An integral part of your work is to increase the team's knowledge and opportunities to deliver best possible results. Further, you perform competition monitoring and participate in patent writing to protect our new products and concepts.
About you
We're looking for someone with a master's degree in a relevant field, with at least five years of experience in cutting machining or similar in the industry. You have good knowledge of Office 365, and if you have project management experience and been working in Antura, or equivalent, it's a big plus. As we work locally and at the same time belong to a global organization, you need good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
