hela Sverige The compressor aero design and dynamical integrity group is part of the compressor and rotor development department in Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB, Finspong, Sweden. The group is responsible for the compressor aero design and the dynamical integrity of all core engine components of 25-60MW gas turbine range. Our responsibilities reach from method development, new engine developments, to fault analysis of existing gas turbines. Day to day work takes often place within development projects with a focus on aerodynamics, thermo-acoustics, rotor dynamics and blade dynamics / aeromechanics.
What are my responsibilities?
• Calculations with a focus on blade dynamics and aeromechanics for the compressor and turbine components
• Analysis of measurement data and HCF lifetime assessment for the current and next generation blading and guide vanes
• Be part of development projects for product upgrades and next generation gas turbines
• Fault analysis and investigation of the current gas turbine fleet
• The work includes a wide area of responsibilities with a large network of internal and external contacts
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Master degree or PhD in mechanical engineer or comparable university degree in a relevant subject
• Relevant work experience in numerical analysis/methods and/or measurement techniques
• Analytical, structured and flexible way of working
• Team spirit and the ability to integrate and be part of a team
• Advanced knowledge in both English and Swedish as both are essential in your day to day work
