We are looking for a software flash engineer with knowledge of software development to join our development organization. Our organization is responsible for leading the test development for mobile phones developed by Sony Ericsson in different factories around the world. This work includes requirement handling, defining processes, strategies, implementing and verifying test setup (both SW and HW) for the purpose of testing mobile phones in high-volume production.
In role as flash engineer, you will be involved in different mobile phone projects to integrate the test platform. You will also work with enhancing and maintaining of existing test platforms and minor development of the next generation test platform for flashing (download software into) the mobile phone.
Typical activities include to:
• Receive and break down high-level test requirements into test implementation specifications
• Systemization of test setup, mainly regarding SW but also HW with purpose to flash software for production and end costumer in mobile phone during high-volume production
• Have the overall responsibility for quality and design in the test setup
• Design, develop and maintain C++/C# - applications executing on PC environment with purpose to flash software for production and end costumer in mobile phone during high-volume production
• Participate in design and customization of electrical test equipments used in high-volume production
• Maintenance and enhancement of existing test setup and electrical test equipments
• Reproduce, analyze and debug defects found on the test system during prototype build phase
• Production support, both on site in different factories around the world and from Lund.
Qualification and merits:
• University degree within in the area of electrical engineering and/or several years of working experience within the area.
• Experience of requirement handling and defining processes is a merit.
• Knowledge about C++ and C# programming (Microsoft development tools).
• Experience with HW testing, preferably in high-volume production is a merit.
• Experience with HW & SW USB performance is a merit.
• Knowledge about Flash and RAM memory technologies is a merit.
