SCO IBP (Industrial Base Performance) is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
The Finishing department within Supply Chain is responsible for Process, Equipment, Development and Implementation of our converting process.
We are now looking for a Development Engineer to work as a member in our dynamic team with variety of tasks within the field of expertise.
In this role, you will be part of cutting edge technology development and improvement activities of converting solutions. You will learn and grow together with a skilled team working towards projects or our install base in a factory environment.
The position will be based in Lund and requires some travelling. Approximately 15% of your time.
Main responsibilities
• Participate in development and improvement activities and projects
• Deliver towards set standards, requirements and specifications
• Represent the area of expertise in different internal as well as external forums
• Writing development reports, follow up and supporting instructions in order
• Drive and participate in test and analysis projects
Qualifications
You possess the ability to learn new thing fast and can handle execution in parallel. You are driven, structured and oriented towards a high-quality mindset and has easy for change speed and to collaborate different individuals. We will appreciate your ability to be flexible and take on tasks outside of your comfort zone combined with broad technical interest.
To be successful in this position you need to have at least some years of experience in working with technical tasks within a production environment or similar. This experience can be either from a developing, maintaining or operational point of view.
Experience from working with slitting, sealing or finishing equipment would be valuable but not necessary.
Your English skills are good, written as well as spoken. Knowledge in additional languages are valued.
