Scania Bus Body System is a part of Scania Research and Development in Södertälje Sweden and has the responsibility for embedded system for bus body, e.g. HVAC, Door functionality. We are now looking for a Development Engineer as an function owner, embedded system.
Your duties
As a Development Engineer for Bus Body Systems you will have a good eye for the whole software development chain. We are working close to all different roles in the chain and many of the roles are even inside the team.
The task as an Function Owner is to lead and be responsible for the bus body functions. Typical task is to coordinate, define and develop those functions. You will also describe the function for the implementation engineer. After implementation you will verify that the function works according to your requirements, sometimes in our test bus and sometimes in our test rig.
We are working close to our customers and sometimes you will travel to the customers in purpose to deeper understand their need. To succeed in this role you need to have knowledge in embedded systems development.
Your Profile
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in electronics or similar and have work experiences with embedded system development.
Knowledge on develop software requirements and ISO26262 is a strong merit.
Skills of MATLAB/Simulink is an advantage.
A demand is also to speak and write English fluently. Write and speak Swedish is strong merit.
