As the enabler for package forming, creasing is identified as one of Tetra Pak's key competence areas. The Creasing group is focusing on development of new creasing solutions and product maintenance of the installed base of creasing equipment in our converting factories all over the world. We are doing this by understanding the needs of our customers and factories, delivering on their needs with a focus on Robust Design.
As part of the new Supply Chain Operations Industrial Base Management organisation you will join an interesting and challenging journey contributing to a stronger integration and cooperation between development and manufacturing resulting in better and more efficient production.
In this position you will work with technical development; from initial ideas to technical solutions deployed and functioning in our converting factories. In the development of excellent creasing solutions you will work with different internal functions as well as with external suppliers.
The position is based in Lund and will require 20-40 days of travelling per year.
Main responsibilities
• Product Development project member.
• Creasing technology development and requirements specification.
• Creasing verification and validation.
• Training of factory employees on developed solutions.
• Factory creasing & cutting audits.
Qualifications
We are looking for an innovative new colleague with a strong technical interest. You have a creative as well as an analytical mindset, and you enjoy developing and deepening your technical expertise. You have a clear communication style and understand the importance of sharing information. As a part of a team you are open and collaborative.
We believe you have quality, TPM/Lean and applied statistics experience. Six Sigma Green belt is meriting. Converting, creasing, and/or package forming experience is highly valued in the position. You also have a good general filling machine understanding. We also value training skills. Should you already have a converting factory network, it is seen as a plus. Your educational background is a Masters or Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Physics Engineering.
