We are looking for a curious person interested in developing solutions in line with our customer?s needs and Nynas? performance program.
You are technically driven with a strong customer focus and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong interest in developing new products with the aim to demonstrate performance and you enjoy working in the lab. You will be responsible for both short and mid-term product development projects and we expect you to be good at defining targets and communicating results. The role will also entail providing technical support within the Nordic region.
The position is within the Cold and Half-warm Application group, Bitumen Technology, Nordic in Nynäshamn.
As the position holder, your key responsibilities will be to:
• Define and undertake projects in a timely fashion
• Undertake literature searches, perform laboratory work and report results
• Maintain and develop expertise in technologies primarily within bitumen emulsions area and their applications
• Solve problems related to products and processes
• Maintain interactions with internal and external customers
• Provide technical support and develop application knowledge within the Nordic region
The successful candidate ideally holds an MSc in Chemistry or Engineering. He or she preferably have at least 3 years of working experience, ideally from petrochemical or road industry. Experience from formulation work, project management and customer support is meriting. You need to be fluent in Swedish and have a very good knowledge in English.
On the personal level you need to be self-reliant, organised and methodical with an analytical mind-set. You enjoy working independently as well as working in a team and you get challenged by meeting high set targets and delivering results and you have a strong application interest.
