Dina arbetsuppgifterAs Development Engineer at SCA Energy you will be responsible for the new demonstration unit that produces advanced biofuels and biochemicals from biomass residues.
• Develop unit operations in the new demonstration unit
• Test all parameters and take samples to analyze effects and variations
• Perform laboratory experiments to learn and develop
• Coordinate supply of raw materials
• Improve product quality and constantly search for new products of high value
• Enhance yield by redesigning the process and laboratory work
• Increase availability and set strategies for commercial plants
• Implement measures that reduce operating cost
• Search in literature for ways to intensify unit operations
• Communicate learnings and new knowledge with local personnel at the site
• Work to strengthen the team at SCA involved in biofuels and biochemicals
• Communicate findings with SCA R&D Centre
• Develop personally by attending training, courses and conferences
Utbildning och erfarenhetYou have advanced chemical engineering skills and a deep interest in biofuels and biochemicals. You have a drive to solve complex technical problems and enjoy working in creative teams.
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
• Excellent problem solving skills
• R&D experience is an advantage
• Catalysis, petrochemical or oil refining experience is a plus
• Business savvy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
