Development Engineer Sound Processor Actuators
Purpose of role
To develop new and improved actuator concepts for Bone Conduction Hearing including integration into new and existing products. Produce working prototypes and documentation to ensure a good starting point for product development
Key responsibilities
• Electro-Mechanical design of sound processors actuators and related components.
• Verification and testing of new and existing designs.
• Monitor relevant new technology.
Key requirements
Master degree in in Physics, Mechanics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in developing actuators, vibrators, shakers, loudspeakers.
Experience in using COMSOL Multiphysics or other modelling and simulation tools.
Experience in prototyping.
General experience in audio technology, measurements and signal processing
Experience of industrial development projects.
Experience in using and developing test and verification systems.
Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written.
Good knowledge of documenting work through reports and descriptions.
Meritorious with experience from highly regulated industry eg Medical Device or Defense.
Personal profile
Analytical and innovative.
Ability to look broad for solutions and to focus in execution.
