We are looking for an acoustic developer with interest and knowledge within acoustic and electronics to join our development organization. Our organization is responsible for leading the test development for mobile phones developed by Sony Ericsson in different factories around the world. This work includes designing, implementing and verifying software for the purpose of testing mobile phones in high-volume production.
In role as an acoustic developer, you will participate in development of the next generation test platform to test audio in the mobile phones (for example testing of microphones and speakers). You will be involved in different mobile phone projects to integrate the test platform. Enhancing and maintaining existing platform is also an important part of the work.
Typical activities include:
To
• Design, develop and maintain C++/C# - applications executing on PC environment with purpose to test and verify the audio quality of the mobile phone during high-volume production.
• Have the overall responsibility for quality and design in the test applications.
• Integrate hardware and software applications into a verified production test system
• Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications
• Production support, both on site in different factories around the world and from Lund
The applicant is expected to be eager to meet goals and to take responsibility for assigned work tasks.
Competence:
Qualification:
• University degree within in the area of software or electrical engineering and/or several years of working experience within the areas.
Requested Competence
• Well documented C++ and C# programming skills (Microsoft development tools).
• Good knowledge about acoustic theory and acoustic components
• Good knowledge within electrical engineering
• Experience with test in high-volume production is a merit.

• Analytical mind with a great interest of the latest technology
• Ability to take initiative and being proactive
• Good communication skills in the English language, both verbal and written.
Overseas travels will be possible and can be discussed depending on the availability of the applicant.
