Scania development is looking for you who want to be a part of, and have the possibility to affect the design when we develop and introduce new concepts and products for our sustainable transport solutions.
This position and the team have the responsibility of bringing forward and industrializing design solutions for the engine power cylinder system (piston, piston rings and cylinder liner). We are looking at an exciting future ahead of us with great challenges and the introduction of several new products.
Your tasks
As a development engineer you will be a key player and have a central role in the development process from the first conceptual studies to the final verifications when introducing new products. Your main task will be development of the parts inside the power cylinder system. You will be a part of a cross functional team where you together with our development engineers, production engineers and purchasers secure the high demands and expectations that is expected of our product regarding reliability, performance and functionality.
Your profile
We are looking for you who hold a Bachelor- or Master degree in vehicle technology, mechanical design or with equivalent experience. Extra merits if you have prior experience in product development.
You are an innovative and driven person who likes to take responsibility and to cooperate with others.
We think that you have a general interest in technology, vehicles or mechanical designs and that you have a good ability in the English language, both spoken and written.
