We are now actively looking for a new talent to join our R&D team in Uppsala.
Development Engineer
The main responsibilities are product development including defining and developing requirement specifications, system design, writing verification plans and reports and to perform and document verification for our instrument products. You mainly work in development project teams specifying embedded systems and other electronics, creating design documentation and transfer that to manufacturing - for new as well as for existing instrument platforms.
Qualifications:
MSc or BSc or equal.
At least one or two years? experience of industrial development & R&D
Ability to establish a broad, technical requirements specification and functional level design of systems containing mechanics, electronics and software.
Ability to develop test and verification plans, perform verifications and technical investigations and document the results.
Enjoy working hands-on with e.g. assembling prototypes and function models, troubleshooting instruments etc.
Have a good understanding of embedded programming and scripts.
Excellent command of English and Swedish, both oral and written.
Team player but also able to manage your own work.
Enjoys working towards deadlines and in a fast moving environment.
