The Homogenization & High Pressure Pumping Department at Tetra Pak Processing Components is now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to work in our Product Creation and Product Life Cycle processes.
The brand name for our portfolio of homogenizers and high pressure pumps for liquid food is Tetra Alex . Homogenization is a process that effectively reduces the size of solid particles and liquid globules, improving the quality and stability of the treated product. Tetra Alex homogenizers & high pressure pumps are specially designed for food applications.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will work independently with development activities and technical investigations. You will also participate in our development projects as well as product maintenance activities and technical support for our existing machines. You will work in a dynamic organisation where you will have close contact between development, production, marketing and support.
You will:
• Initiate and start up important and crucial development activities
• Drive and initiate industrial- and mechanical design activities
• Manage Technical Investigations and support
• Perform simulations and Mechanical design in ProEngineer
• Planning, execution and evaluation of tests in laboratory environment and at field tests
KvalifikationerThe successful candidate possesses a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with 5-10 years of experience from mechanical design and development. Knowledge and experience in metallic and polymer materials is almost mandatory and you need to be skilled in ProEngineer and FEM calculations as well as ProMechanica. Experience from software simulations like CFD is valued as a merit. You are of course fluent in English, both oral and written.
As a person you are self propellant and can drive your own work forward. You have a strong and wide technical interest and your technical curiosity makes you solve problems in a persevering way. It is natural for you to set up your own time plans and drive your work to closure in an organized/systematic way. You are a team player and you are also able to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a supportive way.
