In-Line Plastic Moulding is one of the Key Competencies within D&E Packaging Technology. Our task is to develop plastic moulding technology for integration in our packaging platforms.
As Development Engineer you will work with the latest technology within the field of plastic moulding, such as injection moulding machines, compression moulding machines and assurance tools in order to meet the demands on robustness and quality of the packaging system.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Develop new injection moulding solutions for Carton Bottle Platform
• Plan, perform and drive simulation and test activities in co-ordination with cross platform projects and competence areas.
• Analyse empirical test results and simulations and compile development reports.
• The position is based in Lund on a local contract and may require some travelling.
Publiceringsdatum2009-02-18KvalifikationerYou hold an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a major degree of polymers. We believe you have at least 5 years work experience with competence in Plastic Moulding and Mould Design. Experience of simulation tools is an advantage.
As a person you are self-motivated with a strong personal drive and a structured mindset. You are analytical and creative with the ability to combine theoretical studies and practical experiments. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be very useful as you will be collaborating with colleagues within different competence areas. Your command of written and spoken English is excellent.
