This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of power electronics systems, specifically traction inverters and DC/DC converters, for BEV truck and bus and shape the future of sustainable transportation.
Position
As a Development Engineer specializing in power electronics, with a focus on traction inverters and DC/DC converters, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing these advanced power electronics systems for our BEV trucks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers, to ensure the successful integration and performance of these power electronics components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics design, experience in the automotive industry, and a passion for clean energy technologies.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop traction inverters and DC/DC converters for BEV trucks, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct thorough simulations and analyses to optimize the performance of the power electronics systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers to integrate the traction inverters and DC/DC converters into vehicle systems.
• Lead testing and validation activities for the power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and debug power electronics issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power electronics technology and apply them to improve the performance of the traction inverters and DC/DC converters.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Solid experience in the design and development of traction inverters and DC/DC converters, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice) and power electronics design software.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, converter topologies, and control algorithms.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61800).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
