We're looking for a Development Engineer, who has a strong drive to see and implement opportunities with new technology applicable in Boliden mining operations.
As a Development Engineer within the System Technology department in Boliden Mines organization your work will cover:
• Project management in implementation projects
• R&D projects in cooperation with suppliers, universities and other stakeholders
• Technical investigations and reports
• Monitoring of technology development relevant to mining business
Projects and activities are run within Development Programs in cooperation with the mine operation organization. This means that you will work and travel to our mine sites in Sweden, Finland and Ireland. You will work closely with the mine organization, and you have a positive attitude in getting in contact with colleagues.
Education and experience
You are an B.Sc. or M.Sc. engineer within automation, electrification, IT or similar. You have experience in project-oriented work, preferably as a project manager.
You have a curious mindset, you are eager to cooperate and share knowledge with your colleagues, and you have no issues with speaking in front of colleagues and stakeholders.
You need to be able to communicate in Swedish (willingness to learn) and English
You will need a driver's license for car. Finnish language is a merit
