We are looking for an experienced Development Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) within Chemistry Systems, Core Imaging. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical design of PET synthesizers. As a part of a small new team of 12, you will have a unique opportunity to help build an organization from the start with the benefit of guidance and support from other established business teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
In addition, the position encompasses high-level concept design, translation of customer requirements to design inputs, development and test, manufacturability and serviceability.
• Working with cross-functional teams to complete subsystem and system verification and validation
• Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability
• Analyzing and validating material/component selection, tolerances, performance, cost, manufacturability
• Evaluating and prioritizing pertinent business tasks with limited information
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Some years' relevant work experience (work or educational background) in machine design
Experience with 2D/3D mechanical computer aided design, preferably Creo.
Basic understanding of materials, properties, and manufacturing processes
Desired Characteristics:

Customer focused: strong interpersonal skills, ability to listen to customer, build relationships, and work under pressure
