What do we offer?
At the Climate ART we are responsible for climate system development within Volvo Car Group. Currently we are transforming into an Agile way of working; therefore, it is important for us to be adoptable to changes, show initiative to bring value and make changes happen! We're taking on the ownership for our ART within the Solution, focusing on delivering the products with high quality.

We are now looking for a Development Engineer to the group Air condition and Add heaters. What you'll do
As a Developer in Heating you will bring design engineer competence to the Agile development team and support with development and verification in all phases. As a part of the team you will, along with other team members, the Scrum Master and the Product Owner, decide and prioritize tasks. Together we make sure to execute the delivery of team and Climate ART backlogs.

You will work in close cooperation with suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing engineers, SQM, testing department and other support team members within the company. You drive all tasks efficiently and find ways to implement the best possible solution with no deviations regarding quality assurance.

You will get the chance to develop project leading skills, communication and technical skills, by managing the Heating component projects. You will manage and communicate detailed plans for all concerned parties, both internally and towards the supplier, document and communicate decisions within the team relevant for air distribution deliveries and drive daily activities in your area of expertise

You and your skills
We think that you a have genuine interest in technology and in the latest trends within automotive industry. You like to drive cars and you are eager to understand how our customers use and experience our products, to be able to satisfy their expectations.

You have at least a B.Sc within mechatronic or electrical engineering, physics or equivalent experience. You have an understanding of the SAFe/Agile way of working and are familiar with CATIA. You have previous experience from a design engineer role within the area of Electric SW/HW and are comfortable with the product development process, if you in addition have Climate system knowledge is appreciated.

As a person you are social and possess great communication skills, you build and maintain strong network and relationships with different stakeholders. You appreciate to work in close collaboration with your team and prioritize knowledge sharing. You are proactive and take initiative instead of waiting for instructions. You possess analytical skills as well as the ability to be creative when needed.

You hold a driver 's licence B and are fluent in English language, spoken and written.
