The emission legislation are being pushed to lower and lower levels. At the same time the performance as for example fuel consumption also need to be reduced in order to deliver the best overall product to our customer. This creates an ongoing challenge to find cost effective and robust technical solutions in terms of both hardware and software for engine including after treatment.

With you being an creative person with interest for working in the frontline of engine development with main focus on engine performance there is an interesting opportunity ahead.

Areas of responsibility
You will be working in the group Engine Optimisation within the department Engine Development. The main objectives is optimisation of hardware, software and calibration in aspects of emissions and performance, that is fuel consumption and engine power for example.

Your main areas of responsibility will be writing calibration instruction and implement them.

Personal profile
You are an skilled Engineer with PhD exam and have experience within engine development with focus on emissions and performance. Experience from calibration and software functionality is needed as well as experience of writing instructions. An open mind and willingness to work as a member of a team is important. You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
