• To compile measurements of electrical parameters and evaluate them statistically.
• To perform detailed electrical measurements to explain the anomalous properties and reconnect conclusions to process engineers.
• Work with process engineers to improve the solar cell efficiency.
• Construction and maintenance of the electrical measuring equipment.
• Modeling and simulation of the electrical characteristics of solar cells with various software tools.
• Documentation of methods.
• Training of operators.
• Report writing, written and oral presentation of results in Swedish and English.
Experience and education
• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in semiconductor physics, electronics, engineering physics or similar.
• 0-3 years' experience with similar work.
• Experience of working in a lab environment with electrical measurement equipment is desirable.
• Theoretical knowledge in electrical measurements and solar cells.
• Experience in software and programming.
• Interest and experience in statistical analysis
Personal qualifications
• Ability to work in parallel with several different tasks.
• Troubleshooter
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish
• Should enjoy experimental work.
• Positive attitude.
The employment as electrical characterization engineer means to in detail characterize our solar cells with various methods. For this you need to be used to perform measurements in a laboratory environment, design (and construct) electrical characterization equipment, qualify and make service on existing characterization tools and evaluate data with statistical methods to find correlation between process parameters and the performance of the solar cell. Most of our R&D work is performed in projects.
