hela Sverige As a development engineer you will develop chromatography resins in collaboration with customers and project managers. You will plan, perform and document project work involving the development of analytical and synthetic methods for industrial chromatography media.
Essential Responsibilities:
Custom Designed Media (CDM) develops chromatography media for the biopharmaceutical industry. Our function is entrepreneurial and truly customer driven and the goal for each project is that we together with the customer find a technical solution for their problem. As a development engineer you will be a crucial part of the project team responsible for development, manufacturing and supply of new products.
This is a permanent position with great potential for personal growth.
Responsibilities will include:
Creation of new products
Plan and execute organic synthesis
Identification of appropriate analytical techniques
Plan and execute analysis of prototype resins
Practice design of experiments and multivariate analysis
Develop analytical test methods
Transform the synthetic method into a large scale production method
Investigate stability and other media characteristics to be used in the regulatory support package
Prepare and present scientific material internally / externally
Take on delegated responsibility for project management and administration
M.Sc. in chemical engineering or chemistry. We are willing to consider recent graduates for this position.
Fluent in English, oral and written
Personal skills: Quality conscious, Result oriented, Analytical skill, Service minded and team oriented, Flexible and Resourceful
You should have an interest for rational product development and production economics and enjoy handling multiple tasks at the same time

Documented experience of working in similar environments, such as the biotechnology, life sciences or pharmaceutical industries, is also of interest
