We currently have the following job opening;
Development Engineer - Brake Functions
As a Development Engineer Brake Functions you will use CAE-analysis, objective measurements and subjective assessments that you will both order and perform to ensure that the project content is sufficient to reach the targets on vehicle stability. The various tasks demands an analytical approach and a strong ability to subjectively assess vehicle stability and the knowledge to conduct measurements of the brake function performance of the car.
Responsibilities and Tasks
• Define system requirements to be able to meet the complete vehicle requirements in platform projects
• Definition and development of verification plans, test and evaluation methods
• Compile and evaluate analysis and test results, ESC, ABS, traction control, hill decent control and stand still management.
• Decide and communicate attribute status based on analysis and test results to project management
• Support the function developers in development of specifications, concept selections and supplier evaluations
• Validation of brake functions in car
Profile and Background
• Engineering degree
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics development
• Strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and drive issues
• Analytic and problem solving mindset
• Ability to cooperate and work in team
• Create and develop personal networks
• High interest in vehicle development
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
