Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The group responsible for air management and cooling system within Scania bus chassis development, is now looking for two new members of the team.

The group's main responsibility is to set the requirements, advice and develop concepts for air management for different powertrains, such as combustion engines, hybrid systems and battery electric systems. Within cooling system the responsibility is to develop and install the cooling system for the same powertrains.

The daily work as a development engineer include close co-operation with test engineers, which contribute to a wide product understanding and possibility to see more aspects of the development work. The area of responsibility for each development engineer is also quite wide.

Your assignment
You will be responsible for the development and installation of either the air management or cooling system within the mentioned powertrains. A large number of components are developed in other departments at Scania and requires a cross functional way of working within the company. Both development of new concepts and further development of existing concepts will be a part of your responsibility.

Your profile
We are looking for you who have a master or bachelor degree, alternatively with experience within relevant field of technology. Earlier experience of CAD is a requirement and within Catia V5 a plus. You are self-going and have good communication skills. You are driven, curious and motivated by finding problems and solving them. You are also structured and good at planning your work, and you master English in both speech and writing.
