How do you sell 1,000,000 Pad Thai's that all reach the same insane heights of flavour, freshness and spicy delight? Well, that's actually up to you to decide! We are on the lookout for a Development Chef that can take a concept and refine it until it really sings - trying out many different recipes and navigating constraints in a skillful way..
If you think about the kitchen as a ship, we are building the most well-oiled, efficient and passionate machine known to man. It brings spectacular food to those that might not have access to the latest trends otherwise. We are currently redesigning and improving every single aspect of our food, adapting our dishes so that they can be enjoyed by millions of people with consistent, kick-ass flavours.
What you will actually do
You will:
Experiment with state of the art kitchen equipment, devising creative ways of using it
Work closely with Operations and Supply chain to create recipes that are fantastic, easy to follow and fit a set of strict constraints
Tweak, tweak and then tweak the dishes some more, till you have arrived at the perfect flavour
Be based in our brand new Development Kitchen in Stockholm
Support in the creation of training materials - maybe even star in instructional videos if that is your cup of tea!
You are:
Friendly and enthusiastic
Able to work alone on projects. Taking responsibility and reporting progress in a set way to the rest of the Development team
Someone that has a good understanding of food trends, not just in Sweden, but internationally
Super organised and slightly obsessive about things being done correctly and to a pre-prescribed way
Experienced in cooking on a commercial level
Comfortable with technology, especially Excel and Google interface
Able to work and deliver under pressure
Comfortable working mainly in English
Able to work with one foot in the kitchen and one in the office
