Where will you belong?
Do you want to be part of creating the wow effect in Volvo cars? The Display team is the place for you. We have a really exciting future ahead of us where the Displays develop at a fast pace and with a changing design. Display teams belong to Interior Room ART where we develop the Displays, Switches, IP, Tunnel, and door panels. We are now looking for a Developer with Project Leading experience. You will work in an agile team with competence in lead engineering, test, software, and hardware, with a clear ambition to work cross-functional. We need curious and talented people on board. What 's in it for you?
You will work as a Developer for our development teams. The work is done in close collaboration with our suppliers. As a Developer, your responsibility is to lead and align the cross-functional engineering effort to meet the time, technical and cost targets for our displays. With many interfaces, external as well as internal, this is a demanding but rewarding position. As team members will play a crucial role in building the new team-oriented culture, therefore, we see very positive your ability to contribute to other competence areas within the team for example testing, SW, and HW. All based on your background and interests of yours. You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Team manager, and many other people with the interface to the team
Who are you?
We believe that you have a degree of M.Sc or B.Sc in electrical or computer science, or equivalent technical training and more than 5 years of experience working within the Automotive sector. We also looking for someone with documented project leader skills since this will be one of your responsibilities. Since we are a global company and have a diverse team you need to be fluent in English. And, you have to have a valid B driving license to perform your job.
It is meritorious if you are experienced in HW and/or SW development.
Competence and experience are important, but personality is key!
As a member of our team, you have to be a true team player and Are happy to share your best practices and equally happy to learn from others. We believe that you are a structured person who has a good sense of detail. You need to have strong multitasking skills to lead the project and you also need to prioritize and delegate tasks to achieve deadlines and drive the results. To be successful in this role, you need a high level of communication and presentation skills, and inspiring people around you. Also, you have to be open-minded and innovative to lead the changes.
