At Encore we're crafting tools and experiences to help both individual developers, and businesses, create innovative products, faster.
In this key role you'll shape how we engage with developers across the ecosystem, with a view to growing and supporting our amazing developer community.
What you'll do
You'll head up our developer relations efforts and will have a big impact on all things Encore from day one.
Together with our lead team, you will define the strategy for how we'll grow our community of developers, and you will be responsible for how we reach, teach, and empower developers all over the world.
You'll might also spend part of your time writing code, and contributing to the open source community around Encore.
Who you are
You have a background as a software developer.
You take pride in being able to zoom out and see the big picture.
You love engaging with people and understanding their needs, frustrations, and ambitions.
You may have experience growing developer groups or other social groups, and have a perspective on appropriate mechanisms and storytelling to achieve this.
You have a range of skills and are excited about getting stuck in and doing what's necessary today, while also reserving energy for thinking big and shaping the long term.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and like solving fuzzy problems.
You are open to travelling, in order to meet our users in person (when it's safe and practical to do so).
