Volvo's Audio Systems team are responsible for the handsfree system, AVAS system and complete audio system in the car and are part of the department In Car Digital. In Car Digital delivers the complete infotainment system to our customers. We continuously strive to exceed our customers expectations and will now strengthen our team to meet the future requirements in the next generation of cars from Volvo.
What you'll do
For this developer position, we are looking for two persons with main skills within the area of project management. In this role, you will work in an internal agile team but also alongside our suppliers to drive development of speakers, amplifiers etc. for our current as well as our upcoming systems.
As a developer with main focus on project management you:
* Drive overall project plans for specific components and SW.
* Drive suppliers to deliver on time and with quality.
* Being proactive and a part of the solution in technical matters.
* Synchronise HW, SW etc internally with the car programs and plants.
Do you fit the profile?
You have the desire and ambition to work within the Audio development area. As a person, you are self-motivated to deliver on time, on target and with quality. You have very good communication skills and are a team player. Flexibility and a growth mindset is important qualities to possess.
* University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
* Documented project management skills
* Knowledge in Volvos development process
* Ability to take decisions and documented leadership skills.
* Fluent in English, both verbally and written
* Knowledge of Agile ways of working is meritorious
* Driver's license (B)

Location for this position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
