Our Exciting Opportunity
Does digging into data and solving complex problems motivate you? If you love making ideas reality by connecting predevelopment and development, then our team is the place to be. We offer an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, highly collaborative technical environment.
We are looking for a skilled engineer with detailed experience in radio algorithms systemization and architecture, a good understanding of radio function systemization and a knack for requirement-driven development to join PDU (Product Development Unit) Radio Common Radio Module organisation in Stockholm. You will work with a wide network of designers, specialists and researchers across the global radio development organization in solving sophisticated technical challenges and develop innovative new technologies for our world-leading multi-standard Radio Products. Linearization and DPD in particular, CFR, Passive Intermodulation and other HW impairment compensations are the main responsibilities of the team.
The right person should understand the big picture and have a pragmatic approach to dealing with all types of challenges.

You will:
Break down the overall radio requirements down to the algorithm level
Deliver a requirement baseline towards ASIC implementation and Verification
Structure documentation of requirements and traceability
Participate in product/process reviews
Develop and propose efficient Algorithms for areas such as Linearization (DPD), Crest Factor reduction (CFR), Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM), Antenna Calibration, Machine Learning, Radio Beamforming etc.
Develop outstanding Simulation strategies and methodologies and follow through Execution
Perform data and result analysis by extracting relevant content from test results and data log files
Work closely, in a hands-on manner, with radio hardware and software designers


To be successful in the role you must have
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Preference would be given to applicants with a PhD degree
5 - 10 years of proven experience
Experience and proven understanding of radio algorithm development in one or more of the relevant areas: DPD, CFR, PIM, Antenna Calibration, BF etc.
