hela Sverige The Detector Group at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a Detector Systems Technical Project Administrator position .
Description of main responsibilities
The Detector Group has an active development and construction programme that is time critical for successful completion of the ESS project. The successful candidate will be a Technical Project Administrator to be posted with our team at the Detector Group facilities in Lund. The responsibilities include a range of varied tasks in relation to assuring the delivery of detectors for initial ESS instruments. There will be also a few technical tasks. The candidate will work together with the Group and Section Leaders, in supporting the work of the Detector Group. Specific tasks include: following the details of the project status of detectors for all instruments and the relative state compared to the instrument as a whole, schedule, budget implications for the work packages, integration of all activities and their prioritisation. This will ensure the delivery of the detectors as needed by the NSS Project. Other tasks would include events logistics, contract administration, writing proposals and reports.
Required qualifications
• The position is best suited for someone with a degree.
• The ability to work independently and according to tight deadlines and with limited information.
• The working language will be English.
