Description of the assignment
A small innovative medtech company immediately needs to fill the position as Design Validation Coordinator with the responsible to:
• Design test cases for Assay verifications
• Prepare experimental study plans
• Participate in reviews of tests and reports
• Possibly contribute hands on during the design verification execution
• Write Assay Design Verification reports
• Finalize drafted plans for the Design Validation
• Practical preparations for the Design Validation
The first challenge in this assignment is to support the Design Verification team in putting draft assay verification plans into practical realization including writing test cases, experimental plans and SOPs within a limit period of time. The assignment does not include further development or design but rather executing the test runs.
The secondary challenge is to take on the role as Validation Coordinator and prepare design validation plans in due time to start design validation directly after a successful design verification.
This assignment is a temporary position for approximately one year dependent on starting date. A few international trips will take place during mid 2018.
Qualifications for the role
• A background in science, most likely within biotechnology/biochemistry/chemistry.
• Several years of experience from assay and product development including design verification within Life Science Business, preferably IVD.
• Experience from Design Validation and coordination of testing at several externa sites.
• Experience from working in a class II safety lab with human plasma samples is an advantage.
• Experience of working in an international setting is preferred.
• Standard knowledge of MS Office.

We envisage a well organized person with a can-do attitude used to taking their own initiatives and getting things done. The right person is stimulated by challenges, sees opportunities to resolve issues and presents concrete alternatives to a way forward. We are looking for someone with excellent coordination skills who also contributes with hands-on work. Good communication skills and to be fluent in written and spoken English is essential. Swedish is not a prerequisite.

Working hours: Full time at fixed monthly salary. This position is a temporary position (visstidsanställning) over around 12 months initially. If you are the right candidate there is a good chance of a continuation within Dfind and/or possibly at the company.
