Our department Rotors & Nozzles has the main responsibility to lead the design development of
turbines and nozzles for space rocket engines. We also support some products for civil programs. Our
department works in all project phases; early technology development, demonstrator- and product
development as well as support and non-conformance handling for products in serial production.
We are looking for a new colleague who can further strengthen our team of Design Teamleads; if you
have knowledge/interest in our products and a desire to take a leading role in our design activities,
this might be the opportunity!
As a Design Teamlead (Design Integration) you have the responsibility to make sure that the design
team delivers according to plans, that you have been part of creating. To enable this you lead a cross
functional design team where each team member supports with their respective competence.
Communication with other functions within the company and externally with customer and suppliers
is an important part of the job.
There are different projects running and probably more coming in where you have possibilities to
grow into the role as Teamlead/Design Integration and Non Conformance Engineer.
Among other things, the following responsibilities and expectations are included:
• Planning, driving and managing design team to be able to deliver right quality in the right
time
• Define the resources needed
• Break down of requirements on the product with purpose to reach a balanced product
regarding technical requirements, producibility and product cost
• Plan and document verification and certification of the product
• Plan and perform technical reviews, internally as well as externally towards our customers
• Drive design changes, repair proposals
• Handling of remaining non-conformities from manufacturing
Furthermore, we want you to actively contribute to the department 's objectives, strategy and
continuous improvement work. We expect that you are able to create a positive atmosphere and
acts as a role model. Setting team targets and feedback on performance within the team is also very
important.
Publiceringsdatum2022-02-16Kvalifikationer• Engineering diploma BSc, MSc or other relevant engineering degree or experience
• Experience and product knowledge mainly from turbines/turbomachinery, alternatively
space nozzles is beneficial
• Excellent co-operating, team-working and networking skills - experience of leading teams is
beneficial
• You are comfortable taking a large individual responsibility as well as being part of a team
• You have the ability to communicate and express yourself well in Swedish and English
(spoken and written)
