Lifesum is looking for a Design Researcher to join our mission to create the best product experiences possible to improve people's lives through better eating. The role will focus on understanding our user's behaviors, needs, and experience and how we can turn those insights into easy to understand solutions that help build better habits.
Responsibilities and what you will do
• Help set the vision for the user experience by conducting human-centered research, interpreting qualitative and quantitative data, and empathizing with users to understand the problem space and opportunities that lie within it
• Produce customer journey maps, service blueprints, personas, wireframes, and lo-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate how things are and how we want things to develop when users interact with the product
• Conduct usability testing, surveys and leverage insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific market demands to gain diverse perspectives to navigate informed decisions and solutions
• Collaborate with other designers throughout the entire design process to ensure a high-quality and cohesive user experience that is continuously validated by insights.
Are you the one we're looking for?
To be successful in this position we believe that you have
• At least five years of experience designing a consumer-focused product for multiple mobile platforms
• The ability to fluidly adapt to challenges and solve problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• A strong understanding of usability and user experience principles and how that translates into functional design within the ecosystem of a digital platform
• A broad experience with a variety of different user research methods applied across the product development process
• Worked with Sketch, Figma, and other tools relevant throughout the design process
If you have experience defining and refining methodologies and processes related to your field in an organization that is something that you would benefit from in this position.
