hela Sverige As a Design Research Lead you are responsible for facilitating the scoping, collecting, and synthesis of insights for Design to build internal knowledge and support Design's contribution to creating sustainable consumer-driven branded experiences.
You will participate in, and contribute to, various projects and programs across design teams and business areas, using effective research and analysis skills. You will also support the output communication with the aid of appropriate communication tools, networking and relationship building skills.
You will work across our global design teams and other functions with the company, as well as external expert networks and focus the communication of outputs towards internal strategic decision makers.

Scoping and direction-setting
Scoping in a way that can be translated into project plans, budgets, and project proposals etc.;
Create hypotheses for research and choose appropriate research methodologies;
Leading and setting the direction on medium projects;
Adopting or developing new research methods that increase the relevance of design research for design and/or our business partners;
Research & analysis
Using Electrolux Design's vocabulary, methods and tools for research;
Leading and managing medium-sized projects and project teams;
Conducting applied design research within a domain by using established methodologies and toolboxes
Draw upon existing and new research methodologies and content;
Making smart use of internal and external networks and experts;
Use creative tools to analyze, synthesize then explore impact and future scenarios, with a people-focused interpretation.
People & trends awareness
Observing changes in society, people, marketing, the industry, the relevant domain, and emerging consumer attitudes, and identifying and translating high-level abstract trends and micro-trends into insights and opportunities;
Being aware of (macro-)drivers, socio-dynamic forces, aspirations, needs, values and motivations;
Applying different ethnographic and established people research methods and tools (such as journey mappings, experience flows, issues and dilemmas) to uncover insights.
Communicating & influencing skills
Communicating, transferring and integrating people and trends insights in a clear, concise and inspiring way to different audiences by using presentation, strong visual communication, story-telling and workshop facilitation skills;
Develop practical and tangible application tools to inspire and help the receivers digest and maximize the value of people-focused insights;
Analysing stakeholders to tailor the communication style;
Facilitating workshops and discussions for design and other colleagues;
Design Skills
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Aptitude for brand-, business-, market- and technology inputs.
Ability to work with multiple competencies across businesses/brands.
Personal Skills
Able to capture long term business goal and act on short term actions.
Strong communication and presentation skills to present ideas and goals effectively.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with sense for corporate politics.
Ability to work in multi-functional international teams.
Pro-active work attitude and ability to organize personal work to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor 's degree or higher level in appropriate field.
6+ years of relevant work experience of different business domains, markets and cultures.
A proven track record of excellent communication design performance in previous positions.
Willingness to travel and represent the Design in Multi-Functional meetings
Languages
Fluency in English. Other languages are a benefit.
