Publiceringsdatum2013-05-06Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for a Design Quality Engineer to be based in Sweden.
• The Design Quality Assurance (DQA) Engineer/Professional supports engineering to deliver right first time.
• He/She assures the engineering processes and design related processes are followed properly (i.e. Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Validation and Verification process).
• He/She assures that the resulting deliverables fulfil the requirements.
• He/She assures that the engineering deliverables criteria templates, design review check lists and quality gates are properly used and deployed, Therefore he train, coach the engineering organization.
• He/She monitors the related performance KPI's, and highlight any risk of issue to the organization and management.
• The DQA Engineer/Professional assures the management of the quality records (i.e. customer, homologation, ISO).
• The role will be successful if the DQA person is seen to add value for engineering activities. DQA is responsible to maintain the relationship with Engineering.
• The DQA person will partner with and support Engineering in various issues, such as gate reviews, problem solving (8D, Root Cause Analysis), lessons learned documentation and usage
• Strong alignment with SQA, OQA, PQA, IMS is key.
• As independent function, ensure proper deployment and monitoring of engineering and design related processes (i.e. related to product verification and validation, configuration Management, requirement management, product design, product planning.
• Assess the processes and give recommendations by reviewing ongoing projects within the engineering department.
• Re-strengthen and supports a reliable root-cause analysis process within engineering department. It includes analysis of field issues and reflection to new projects, platforms & products.
• Support CI activities deployment in engineering (such as Lean principles, reliable root-cause analysis process).
• Train and coach engineering to properly apply the acceptance criteria templates, design reviews checklists, quality gates, and any other quality assurance method and tool.
• Monitoring the performance KPI's (i.e. design acceptance criteria templates and design reviews checklists properly used, reviews performed with authorized people, tracking of open actions is done).
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• Typically 2 - 3 years experience in a relevant role.
• Knowledge of CMMI, ISO 9001 ff. / IRIS, Product Test plan, Design verification & validation.
• Knowledge of ALT (alternate life-cycle test), stress test.
• Knowledge of BES and core PM processes and Gates reviews.
• Knowledge about requirements management and configuration management.
• Able to facilitate an FMEA (systems, Design, Process)
• Knowledge on Standards (IRIS, CENELEC)
• Engineering experience.
• Root Cause Analysis expert (on tools or techniques like 8D, Kepner Tregoe)
