Job Description
We are looking for several organized and proactive Design Ops managers with strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to join our Design Operations team and work with our growing Global Experience Design Community.
As we are building up our Design Ops function, you will be catering to a community of over 100 designers in various roles. You will be responsible for capturing, documenting and maturing solid practices for managing our international design community, design processes and career structures.

You will be joining a rapidly growing and diverse team of talented and passionate Experience Designers and will work tightly integrated with cross-functional product teams. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across the business impacting product development across H&M, COS, Arket, Weekday, Monki and more, with your design craft, empathy and customer-focused mindset.
Your Role
Act as part of the Design Ops team working with various roles such as product leaders, designers, agile coaches, learning & development colleagues and colleague and corporate support team to establish and mature an inclusive, cohesive and effective design culture across experience design.
You work across the entire Design Ops scope with a focus to drive one of these (according to your experience and interests):
Design processes and resources
Ensure creation, evolution and adoption of strong and scalable design processes, design standards and metrics and definitions of ready, good and done. You want to deliver speed and quality.
Collaborate on the right set of design tools and methods and training thereof.
Create, organize and maintain a playbook for experience design.
Contribute to the documentation of modern product development processes and to the adaptation of these across product teams.
Community management and culture
Organize and manage the wide experience design community of practice. You want to foster communication, collaboration, cohesion and continuous learning.
Work to create a unified design culture across roles and product areas
Continuously inspire and engage our growing community in ongoing initiatives.
Drive the evolution of our yearly community design events.
Work to establish connections to educational entities as well as industry events.
Growth and recruitment
Champion diversity and the right mix of skills and experience in the group.
Maintain and evolve career paths, role descriptions and progression assets
Own interview processes, interview tasks as well and onboarding assets and processes. Support Team Leads in the hiring process.
Evolve training and career development structures.

Your Mindset & Skills
Relevant experience working with in-house digital product design teams. Either in a designer role or producer/ program management role.
Proven track record of working with various design roles and understanding design as a craft, a process and a mindset.
Proficiency in agile and lean methodologies
Experience in a Design Ops role is a strong plus.
Passionate about people, processes and progress.
Experienced in facilitation & process design
Looking for an organization you can impact at scale. Experience in working in large organizations is beneficial.
Excellent communicator with solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capability - you love to simplify the complex.
Engaged, open minded and ambitious team player willing to share and learn.
Unafraid to challenge existing structures and confident in experimenting with pilots and scaling up success stories.
