Design & Development Engineer
BONESUPPORT AB, a Swedish medical device company, is now looking for a Design & Development (D&D) Engineer who will be working in a global environment with development of new, exciting and innovative products.

In this role you will up-date, review and establish engineering documents according to process requirements, lead risk assessments (FMECA) with multi-functional teams and manage different types of development projects. Your will be in charge of CAPA investigations as well as verifications and validations. You will be a part of the R&D team and work in close collaboration with the Production Manager. You will also collaborate with Quality & Regulatory and Marketing.

Qualification:

We are looking for a person with the following experience and qualification:

• Experience of design control, technical documentation and risk assessments
• Experience in Medical Device industry
• BSc or MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Medical device or related technical field)
• Experience in product development & project management within Medical Device
• You have excellent English in speech and writing
It is a great advantage to have knowledge/experience of:

• Experience of packaging, sterilization processes and transport tests
• Experience from design & construction within Medical Device
• Knowledge about plastic materials
On a personal level, you have excellent communications skills. You are self-motivated and you have the ability to plan and execute activities with minimal supervision. You strive to deliver results. You like to work in a structured way with an eye for details. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
