To our Design Method Development team, within the Product Information organization, we are now looking for a Design Method Developer to Sandviken - someone interested in taking on a central role in the governance and development of our design methods and implementation of a common way of working. This is a great opportunity for you to build an extensive network in an innovative environment and contribute in enabling world-class manufacturing solutions.

Your mission
As a Design Method Developer, you take an active role in improving our CAD processes - from development to production - aiming to enable efficient methods and tools by setting frameworks, standards and instructions and by sharing your expertise in training and mentoring people in the organization. You work in close contact with the product development teams and production to deliver structured and documented methods that fulfill the needs of our stakeholders. An important part of your job is to proactively plan for the future and be one step ahead in our development activities. You also ensure that your work is introduced to the business in ways that enhance and recycle knowledge, while at the same time support our operations in various product projects.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Science, preferably within Mechanical Engineering, or with the equivalent experience gained from a working career. You have solid understanding of product development and product life cycle management, and a profound knowledge of CAD, and especially NX. As we interact in a truly global environment, you need excellent written and verbal skills in English.
