The purpose of the role is to ensure that hydraulic components and hydraulic systems meet the high standards of the company. The position is based in MacGregor's office in Örnsköldsvik. It reports to Manager Hydraulic & Electric & Engineering.Main tasks and responsibilities:Perform hydraulic calculations, 3D modeling, 2D drawings and specifications of hydraulic components and hydraulic systems. Release hydraulic drawing documents in accordance with the predetermined milestones in the EPR system. Have knowledge of the MGC instructions and routinesReview of drawings produced within the Hydraulic Design department Store and maintain hydraulic system drawings and component data sheets in the PLM systemDevelop and maintain the hydraulic system modules and write test instructions for evaluation of hydraulic components and systemsParticipate in R/D projects and lead team members within the CHD Design departmentCollaborate with various teams in order to find effective and innovative solutionsEducate, guide and support service, production and commissioning personnel, as well as customers, in hydraulic system related topics.What you'll need to succeedMacGregor is looking for someone with excellent knowledge in hydraulic components and hydraulic crane system design, as well as in the hydraulic order fulfilment process. Good co-operation and communication skills allong with an innovation mindset would be highly appreciated.Ideally you have/are:M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, specialization Hydraulics or similar experienceAt least 3 years of relevant business / product experience Flexible and problem solving with analytical qualities Easily adaptable to new techniques and keen on increased knowledgeGood skills in written and spoken English.You will be part ofBy joining MacGregor, you will be able to work closely with leading industry professionals, developing and implementing new concepts that set the standards in the maritime transportation and offshore industries.
