hela Sverige Your overall task as Design Lead is to identify, plan and coordinate all Engineering activities within a defined project scope and be the main customer interface regarding Engineering activities. You will lead a product development team according to Autoliv Product Development System (APDS) and based on customer engineering requirements.
Your team members will be representatives from hardware, software, system, test and algorithm development.
Main responsibilities for a Design Lead:
• Ensure all Engineering stakeholder requirements per release and final deliverables
• Ensure Architecture on all enabling systems and product levels (SYS, HW, SW, Test etc.)
• Make and document design decisions
• Handle technical uncertainties (Risks, FMEA)
• Monitor Functional Safety work in coordination with FuSa Manager
• Deliver the technical content of each release
• Support Project Manager in Engineering related customer meetings
You have a Bachelor or Master of Science degree within relevant area and background in design, manufacturing or testing of safety products within the automotive industry. You also have the ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in development of vehicle safety systems.
Your English is fluent both written and oral and Swedish is a preference. Automotive experience SPICE, AUTOSAR and/or ISO26262 is a great advantage and experience from organizational transformation is a positive factor.
You are a result oriented and quality minded person with good priority capability.
You are comfortable finding, establishing and following structure in a fast pace, dynamic and agile environment.
