Our current fields of operation include Exo-skeletons, Sport, Fashion, Furniture, Bionics, and Augmented Reality. As a key member of a small, diverse and versatile team, you investigate, design, prototype, test, and deploy software solutions. We're inspired by and integrate concepts from nearly every area of computer science, including artificial intelligence, robotics, gaming, mobile and high performance graphics. As a creative coder, you work as a part of our interdisciplinary team and can switch projects as our work evolves and expands.
About the projects
Projects at Kram/Weisshaar last between 2 weeks up to 1 year. As a key member of a small, diverse and versatile team, you design, prototype, test, and deploy new software solutions.
Kram/Weisshaar work with designs in English, applying agile principles: adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, and continuous improvement. We encourage rapid and flexible response to change.
At Kram/Weisshaar we compress otherwise separate phases into a single action: Concept / Design / Rapid-Prototyping / Testing / and Communication are all iteratively done in parallel. We start from initial technical and design briefs, move quickly to create rapid prototypes and test continuously. We use task and bug tracking.
You work as a part of our interdisciplinary team and can switch projects as our work evolves and expands. There is a possibility Kram/Weisshaar will expand our team, so there are opportunities to become a Team Lead - contributing to design documents and leading the technical development of projects.
Both Project-Based and Permanent Positions are available.
Minimum qualifications:
• Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Javascript, c# (Unity3d).
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in user interface programming and rapid prototyping: 3d graphics, Unity3d, Arduino.
• Experience in user interface design
Kram/Weisshaar is a design innovation studio based in Stockholm, Munich and London. Working with leading industries and cultural institutions worldwide (adidas, Fondazione Prada, Audi, etc.), our projects span from product design to software development, from robotics to installation design, from process design to architecture. Our work focusses on the vanishing line between the digital and the physical, always remaining committed to "redesigning design" (Arch+ magazine).
Our work has been exhibited worldwide and can be found in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Centre Pompidou, Paris and the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein.
