Medium Duty Engine Platform within Product development are responsible for the design and development of Diesel Engines in the range of 5 to 8 Liters for Marine and Industrial applications. The team is located in Gothenburg but manufacturing sites are located in Sweden, France, Germany and India. The department is today about 20 persons working in different roles. Our ambition is to keep a holistic view of our products so the teams are taking care of all the different stages in the product cycle of the engine - from new development projects via product maintenance to quality issues and feedback from the market. This approach also means that you as a designer can be faced with a wide variety of tasks, everything from engine component design and development to management of larger development projects.

Your CV should contain listed qualifications in academic degrees (BSc. or MSc. Mechanical Engineering or similar). We see that you have at least 2-3 years of experience from mechanical design work and good knowledge of Creo or similar design tools. You should be able to communicate in both Swedish and English and have a valid driver's license. Experience from Volvo's development work is credible.
