In the role of Design Engineer at this company, there are several ways to go and the role can vary depending on what you have for previous experience and what you want in the future. You work in product development, product support or productionability. Some main tasks are to create and update design data such as product drawings, CAD models and geometric interfaces.
As a Design Engineer, you also work with configuration management, giving you complete visibility for the current configuration and status of the product. This is an important part of making it possible to use accurate and reliable documentation during the product life cycle. You as Design Engineer are responsible for developing drawings and models regarding the product to be used by customers and suppliers, both internally and externally. You always have close cooperation with other departments in product development and manufacturing.
Another part that is possible to work with is instrumentation and testing of gas turbine engines and components included in the product portfolio at the company's plant in Trollhättan. Here you are part of the product development team and are responsible for the entire instrument process from start to finish. General tasks in this area include project planning, instrument hardware design and the establishment of manufacturing procedures.

We are looking for you who is a structured and dedicated engineer. You like working in teams and communicating with internal and external parties. You are flexible and have a strong drive and dedication. We would like to see you interested in aerospace engines and combine this with practical and theoretical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
• Master of Science in Engineering or similar
• Fluent English in spoken and written terms
• Good knowledge of drawings, both interpretation and creation
• Experience of Siemens PLM Software NX or similar
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience of SAP R3 and TeamSite
• Knowledge and experience in Configuration Control, Change Management and BOM Management
• Good knowledge in the analysis of geometric tolerance
• Swedish in speech and writing
