Within ÅF Automotive R&D, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM 's, startup companies and system suppliers. We operate all over the world; mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
We are now looking for Design Engineers within Chassis systems such as Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tires, Steering and Powertrain mounts, that are able to navigate in complex organizational/political structures among different cultures and clients. Through great commitment, strong interpersonal skills and a desire to share your knowledge and experience with other, you create the right conditions for collaboration, continued development within the team and to make the team achieve excellent performance. As we have assignments for both Swedish and international clients, daily and weekly commuting may occur.
You will join a strong team within chassis development. The team today consists of 30 collogues with different ages, gender and ethnicities. As a consultant at ÅF, you get a variety of work. You can either work at one of our local customers, or be in our office and work in our exciting projects together with other ÅF colleagues.

You master CATIA or/and NX Tools on a daily basis and can teach others through experience. No challenge is too great and your mindset is always adding value to our customers. Your academic background is a Bachelor or Master degree, but most important is your extensive experience in Chassis development and chassis systems. You may have previously been working at a global OEM or Tier 1, but is now looking for a new challenging career path. Your business English is fluent both verbally and in writing and you communicate easily with both peers and upper management. Being professional is key and you always act upon the best interest of the company. You are within the business known for your strong integrity and you share ÅF's view on ethics and values. A Swedish driver license is required.
