About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido are looking for a Design Engineer. The company is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and together with partners and customers, they are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. The office is located in Södertälje.
Your daily tasks
In this role you will work with design for shafts, gears, bearings and rotating sealings for conventional and e-propulsion transmission units and for main gear box and planetary gear. You will be a vital member of the development team of design engineers, test engineers, and calculation engineers for the development of future powertrain components.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical systems, Solid mechanics, Machine design, Material technology or similar
Excellent communication skills in English
Meritorious
Communicating fluently in Swedish
Experience of CATIA V5 and associated archiving systems
Previous design experience within Scania
Previous experience with drivetrain development
Previous experience with manufacturing of steel components (turning, milling, grinding etc) or having worked with assembly of mechanical components
Previous experience with rotating sealings
Contract type and hours
Full-time, 1 year consulting assignment. Start as soon as possible.
