Effective and professional product development is one key success factor to achieve this.The New Product Development team within the Product Centre Compact Heat Exchangers is looking for a Design Engineer to develop gasketed and semi-welded Plate Heat Exchangers.
The GPHE NPD Team within PC CHE has a global responsibility for the development of new product solutions and to improve the portfolio for our gasketed and semi-welded Heat Exchangers. Currently there is an open position as a plate and gasket designer within the team.Role descriptionAs a Design Engineer in the GPHE NPD Team in Lund you will mainly work with development of new gasketed and semi-welded heat exchanger products. The development is performed in project form, coordinating cross functional activities. Your role in this will be as a designer/sub-project manager for the plate/gasket design. You will work in all phases of the projects, from feasibility to product introduction.As a Design Engineer in the NPD Team you will act as a project manager for cross functional product concept projects. Your everyday activities will consist of product design, 3D- CAD modelling, FE-analysis, PDM-system work, planning and evaluating product tests, project management etc. The 3D-modelling is a big part of this role. Design work is mainly done in our 3D CAD system Creo/PDM-Link, FE-Analysis is done by using Ansys workbench and LS-Dyna. Teamcenter is used to build and maintain Product- structure and data.
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
You have a few years of experience within product development.
You are a prestige less team player who is keen to share knowledge.
You have good communication skill and social competence.
You are creative with analytical skills, committed to your work and have a great interest in technology.
You have 3D-CAD experience, preferably from Creo.
It is an advantage, but not necessary, to have FE-analysis experience.
Since you will work with colleagues in an international environment you should be fluent in English.
