hela Sverige Adiga is an engineering company and we are now looking for a Design Engineer with placement at our client in the automotive industry.
Assignment Description
We are looking for one dedicated design Engineer to strengthen our Fuel and Exhaust engineering team. Your responsibility will be on components within Fuel system. As a design engineer you are installing and designing fuel System components (Fuel tank, Fuel lines, filler pipes, EVAP system, etc.), securing that all system requirements are met, like Fuel functionality, NVH, corrosion, crash safety etc. Our components are in an environment that has complex geometries and you will get a wide network throughout the company and with the involved suppliers.
Your everyday task will as a minimum consist of:
• ? Drawing & 3D-packaging delivery, i.e. supplier delivery in time for freeze/release
• ? Develop and design components and systems that meets the requirements.
• ? Secure packaging feasibility within given frames in accordance with the vehicle packaging
engineers
• ? Create 3D-geometri in Catia V5, and 2D drawings and release in Team Center according to
defined release routines and release plans.
• ? Review, analyze and develop requirements and specifications
• ? Create 3D/2D to meet project time plans.
• ? Ensures that 3D/2D is available for existing milestones. Participates / driver change management process, and that the E-BOM is correct for each commodity.
Qualifications
• ? B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or equal experience.
• ? Minimum 5 years’ experience of automotive development
• ? Experience within Powertrain development is required; Fuel and Exhaust system is
meritorious.
• ? Excellent in co-operation, networking, team-working.
• ? Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Software and IT
• ? You are a skilled user and have documented experience of working in Teamcenter Engineering and Catia V5.
• ? You are a skilled user in Microsoft Office
Personal qualifications
• ? You are flexible and structured, can work independently as well as in teams.
• ? You have a strong drive and engagement. Self-going and self-learning.
• ? You have a genuine interest in automotive and can combine practical and theoretical
knowledge.
• ? You are willing to help others and to ask for help when needed.
• ? You have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
