We currently have the following job opening;
Design Engineer, Front & Rear Closures
We are now looking for a Design Engineer within Body & Exterior Closures.The work principles within the Closures Module team are flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this means that you as part of a larger team will also support activities in other areas as well as get support on your area.
The Front & Rear team within Closures is responsible for parts like Hood, Fender, Hinges, and Tailgate. As Design Engineer you will be responsible for the development of a specific set of parts/systems within a defined project.
Responsibilities and tasks
- You will be responsible of development of parts/system in Catia V5
- Incorporate and loop tooling feedback from manufacturing and supplier in close cooperation with System Engineer
- Secure interfaces and participate in mechanical integration meetings
- Secure technical fulfillment as defined by the System Engineer
Requirements
- B Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or the aquivalent working experience
- 5-10 years' Experience in Catia V5 and Team Center within automotive
- Plastic and steel design and process know-how
- Experience with the Front & Rear Closure is a strong advantage
- Structured approach and strong strive for cooperation
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both oral and written
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
