As a design engineer at the EATS team you work with product development and product maintenance of EATS components such catalytic mufflers, particulate filters and adblue/DEF supply components. You work with design and documentation in Creo and KOLA. An important part of the job is collaboration with suppliers and other teams within Volvo Penta, such other design departments, application engineering, testing and simulation. You can also have a project leading role for the EATS deliveries in Volvo Pentas development projects.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Example of tasks and responsibilities:
Example of tasks, selection of content can vary between individual assignments:
Design and dimensioning of new parts in Creo
Documentation of in houseand supplier drawings and models in KOLA
Maintenance work of existing products
Leadership in contact with suppliers from a design point of view
Create input for installation descriptions used by customers and test departments
Create and follow up requirement specifications
Establish and follow up test plans with suppliers and internal test facilities
Initiate and follow up calculations of durability, gas flow and temperature properties
Project leading roles of the EATS deliveries in a Volvo Penta project

Who are you?
You have experience of working in Creo and KOLA, thereby experience in Volvos environment. You have worked with EATS components or have other experiences where you have gained an understanding of EATS components and functionality. You are communicative and structured. You strive to collect new information and find new solutions of problems that occur.
