Design Engineer Clutch, shifting and hydraulics components
The Powertrain Engineering unit at CEVT is responsible for the development of transmissions and electric propulsion systems and the controls associated with these systems. The Powertrain Hardware Design is responsible for the development of new global transmissions from the early concept phase to industrialization. These transmissions will be the main technology for the Geely group. The development is carried out by several parties inside Geely Group as well as by external contractors.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Component responsible within the Clutch, shifting and Hydraulics team
* Design work in CAD enviroment
* Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing to get an optimized design
* Support the release routines and release plan
* Act as a technical reference in your field
* Together with the team develop the Quality assurance plan for the component.
* Create and meet best practices and design guide lines within the system.
* Be an active team member within the Scum team.
Profile and Background
* BSc in Engineering or the equivalent experience
* Experience in mechanical/mechatronics design
* Experience of working in CAD, preferable ProE/Creo
* Experience of working in PLM systems, preferable Teamcenter
* Experience in developing transmissions for automotive use is a merit
* Fluent in English
* Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
* Ability to lead part development
* Ability to develop & apply solutions to complex problems
* Be able to work in a cross functional / Cross-cultural team
