We are looking for new colleagues to join our team in a new automotive assignment.
As a Design Engineer, your work is carried out in all stages of product development: complete vehicle projects, product maintenance and component projects. The work is performed in close co-operation in a multi-cultural environment with both internal and external contacts such as our different development sites around the world and suppliers.

Responsibilities
Work as an Senior Engineer with responsibility for new development in Product Initiatives as well as quality work related to Pneumatic and Electrical Installations;
Main design work tools are Creo and KOLA (the main documentation system);
This task will also include other data systems and documentations for reporting etc. towards Product Initiatives, reporting for a cross functional team including Purchasing, Production, FVV, Aftermarket etc.;
You will also lead and delegate work to Consultant work packages and our other sites, mainly delegation to our site in Bangalore, India, depending on role and experience;
Lead a defined area of technical expertise, with moderate technical complexity;
Lead mechanical design engineering in a technical team;
Have on holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces to secure quality & readiness before release;
Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team;
Develop and Manage networking across the organization and provide inputs to the project pre-requisites based on the component history.
Qualifications
You should have an engineering degree and several years of working experience as an engineer;
We believe you have specific experience of several years of design in CAD and installation in Creo/Cabling;
Experience from KOLA DVP and working as ETL or Team Leader are also beneficial skills for this task;
You should have a structured way of working and experience of working in scrum teams. It is also beneficial if you have experience of working with heavy duty vehicles;
Working as an Engineer at Electrical and Pneumatic Installation requires a cooperation with a wide amount of departments, many other people with different technical skills and cultures, why you therefore need to be open minded and sociable with energy, passion and respect for the individuals;
You shall be able to communicate, manage and drive yourself, take own initiatives, be committed to finalize tasks, be flexible in planning and have a strong drive for improvements and in some cases also work with multiple task;
You must have good communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing.
